Controlling Spider Mites with Liquid Ladybug

Are you one of the many home gardeners constantly battling against spider mites? Do you have a spider mite infestation that's gotten so bad it's made it into the home and taken over your ornamental plants? If you answered yes to either one of these questions you should consider getting Liquid Ladybug. This organic treatment is 100% safe, and completely effective in controlling spider mites both indoors and out.

Liquid Ladybug's two main ingredients are natural botanical oils. There are no synthetic chemicals or toxic substances in Liquid Ladybug, so you'll never have to worry about the safety of your children or pets. Furthermore, because the idea behind Liquid Ladybug is to control spider might reproduction instead of merely killing adult spider mites, you get a much more thorough product that gives you the maximum spider mite protection.

Early Detection is a Great Help

The earlier you detect a possible spider mite infestation, the easier it will be to control it using Liquid Ladybug. So the first step is to inspect your plants, shrubs, and vegetables on a regular basis. You're looking for flecks, a bronze discoloration in your plants, and sometimes leaves that have been scorched. If an infestation is large enough, you may even see a vast amount of webbing where a female will lay her eggs. If you see any or all of these telltale signs you probably have spider mites.

Because spider mites are so small, they're often mistaken for dirt or rust particles during the early stages of an infestation. One way to tell what's going on is to use a piece of white paper held underneath the leaf of a suspected plant.

By gently tapping the top of the leaf you should be able to cause any spider mites living there to fall onto the paper. Against a bright white background, these rust-colored spider mites are much easier to see.

Treating with Liquid Ladybug

Treating an infestation with Liquid Ladybug is a pretty straightforward process. You simply use your spray bottle to soak infested plants, webs, and soil. Liquid Ladybug will kill adult spider mites on contact as well as penetrate any broken eggs. Repeat with another application the following day in order to ensure you penetrate the eggs that have broken open in the previous 24 hours. Finally, a third treatment six days later ensures that any remaining eggs have been dealt with. As a preventative measure one or two applications every 30 days should keep your vegetation spider mite free.

Remember that Liquid Ladybug approaches the spider mite infestation problem from two fronts: killing spider mites on contact and hindering reproduction by preventing eggs from fully hatching. So if your garden center or DIY store tries to sell you a chemical miticide, you'll have the knowledge to ask the right questions. Be sure to find out if the product being recommended works on both fronts or simply just kills adult spider mites. If it's just the latter, you'll spend more time and money on continual applications which may still fail.
